Legal Translations
The usage of a uniform, company-specific terminology is vital in the case of legal translations. We mainly include contracts, agreements and official documents in this category; the entire workflow is constantly monitored by our editors and proofreaders in order to reach the highest level of exact and professional translations. Due to the nature of the work, confidentiality is self-evident. Upon request, nonetheless, we sign a separate confidentiality agreement with the client.
Economic and Financial Translations
In case of financial and economic translations we emphasize the importance of a specialized translator or team. A professional background is a must both with those performing the translation itself and those conducting the editing, proofreading tasks. We consider financial analyses, corporate records, economic prognoses, business plans, accounting articles and notifications to come under this term.
Natural Science Translations
Texts encompassing mathematics, biology, physics, medicine, pharmaceutics, chemistry and related sciences all fall under this category. Scientific articles, medical findings, theses and similar documents all require the usage of a specific and coherent terminology. It is only obvious that for these specialized documents we use both translation-assisting (CAT) software and a pre-approved glossary (or TM) by the client, in order to minimize flaws to the best of our capabilities. For the best possible result we naturally select editors and proofreaders with the adequate educational background.
Technical Translations
In case of a technical document one has to take into consideration the target group when selecting the appropriate terminology. Consistency is just as important, which naturally means translation-assisting programs and a client-specific glossary or TM. This category includes all technical descriptions, manuals, guides, catalogues and instruction pamphlets.
Corporate Image and Software Localization
Localization is a relatively new area in the translation industry. Its importance lies with adapting a given image of a company, product and service to a specific country, market or branch of business in terms of language, contents and appearance.
In addition to image localization, the term also means the translation of an IT application (software). During the process, specialized tools are used which allow for a more precise work and multi-station translation, while using a centralized terminology database or TM.
